First Microchip puppy/dog.  Rabies vaccinate at over 3 months of age, then import after 21 days with Pet Passport Certificate, give tapeworm treatmetn between 24 hours and 120 hours before arriving in UK.

You need to get a certified pedigree and copy of the owners/breeder registration certificate that shows them and their address (if it isn't incorporated into the certified pedigree).  You then apply to register and imported dog (see KC site for forms).

Until January the earliest a dog could be imported was 10 months of age as a titre test for Rabies was required and a 6 month wait after the blood draw for a good titre result.

From January first 2012 'listed countries' (includes all EU, USA, Canada Australia), only need a 3 week wait after being rabies vaccinated (so puppies can arrive 3 weeks after they are 3 months old if they have their Rabies vaccine at 3 months.

From other countries the dog has to have a titre test and there is a 3 month waiting period before entry is permitted.
