Am looking for old fashioned wholemeal biscuit so I can feed meat & biscuit but it is very difficult to find as most manufacturers now produce mixer biscuit, is it the same as wholemeal biscuit and what would you all recommend ?

I use complete but did go looking for mixer a few weeks back{ Mum had bought the wrong pouches for her dachsie so gave them to me] and there was nothing like Winalot that we used mixed with tinned dog food decades back it was all stuff that looked like complete, bits all the same size and shape, with no label from the old stuff to compare I don't know if the content is the same or not, certainly the new stuff isn't as hard.

I picked up some free samples of Laughing Dog at Crufts one year.  They also do a complete but this is their traditional wholewheat mixer.  I chucked it into my dog treat box and none of mine complained or refused it!!
