Help needed - I have bought a Free Sat box so I can watch tv in the bedroom should I not want to watch same as hubby downstairs.  Having great trouble setting it up, I know it should be easy and it's probably how our wiring is set up etc.

Have now managed to get a sky signal upstairs but when I connect the Free Sat it says no signal!  Even when I try to add the 'magic eye' to enable me to change channels it stops working!  Any tv experts here or do I have to call out an engineer again - they're been here several times since we moved in and never done what I call a proper job.
