I have never bred or shown a dog so really I am just curious about the following advert which reads
Min (show type) Cockerpoo, smaller much calmer prettier than the working type.

Do they mean that the puppies come both from show parents or do they mean they are suitable to show - which is what I first read from the advert.  I wonder how many people will think they are paying £750 for a cross breed puppy that they can later show?  By show, I mean a KC show. I know I am being rather dim.

I think they mean that the pups are a cross between a miniature poodle and a show-type cocker, not a working-type cocker.

It is rather misleading and should state more clearly that the cocker parent is the show type, not that pups are a show type of cockerpoo!

Pat, as they ARE a cross breed they will not be able to be shown at all at KC registered events. £750 is ludicrous for a crossbred dog when the equivalent pure bred dog is only the same price but people at very gullible.

That's a £100 more than the average price of my breed where you ahve fully ehalth tested parents, adn quite possibly they are champions.  Ludicrous.
