Just getting my varnish out to try it on my girls ;-)

What struck me was how long the nails had been allowed to grow thus pushing the toes out of place.

Not my cup of tea, my lot fidget getting their nails and paws trimmed, no way would they sit still long enough to allow varnish to dry and then would probably chew it off.

Whilst i dont agree with dogs being dressed up / nails painted etc i will put my neck on the line here and say that at least it shows they are taking an effort and caring for their dogs. Much better to see that than someone (like my parents next door neighbours) who think you only need to feed a dog. Its barely given any attention, left at home while they are at work all day (and sometimes night) NEVER gets walked etc etc. Its a crying shame
