Great, thats about 35 mins away from Stockton. Do they do a lot of hip xrays for scoring?

Don't whether this one is further than you want to travel, but I can recommend Mike Guilliard http://www.mikeguilliard.co.uk/index.html He x-rays under sedation and is very accurate when it comes to assessing the likely scores.

yes, they were ones who pushed the board to accept digital xray on discs, personally I ask for Sam Gouldberg, she does them on a Tuesday and she has a lot of experience.  I've not had any problems.  They also sedate rather than full anaesthetic.
