Topic Dog Boards / Showing / European classification - spayed bitches

I've had a search around our club site and the FCI site but does anyone know if you can show spayed bitches in regular classes at FCI shows? I'm going to a show in Germany and although it is held under the ISWS it also follows FCI rules, someone has said that spayed bitches can only be shown in the companion (non breeding) class, does anyone know if this is the case?

I show a neutered dog in FCI/Irish kennel club shows, but I had to ask for permission first from the kennel club... not like the UK kennel club who you just 'inform'.

I beleive each KC will have it's own rules, but the FCI rules would apply to International shows.  it shoudl tell you in teh show schedule under the rules.

When I entered the World show in 2002 it did say entire animals only, though with a bitch how would they know anyway.

Thanks both.

That's what I thought Barbara, there are people at the show who know Milly has been spayed so best stick with companion class, it's a long way to go for a companion class but I'll have pup to show too.
