What is the latest you have known a bitch come into season for the first time?

I've heard of a bitch having her first at 18 months. How old is yours?

My HPR Bitch had her first season at 17 1/2 months and then had her second 14 months later. I am in no rush to have a litter, but I have absolutely no idea when her third one will be !!!
Just like us there is no hard and fast rules I have her mother here who has always had regular seasons she had her first at around 9 months and then approx 6 months after.

I would say it's fine, but i'm no vet. some bitches have seasons without us always knowing too.......

She will be 2 on Saturday! I am not worrying just yet! Its nice to show a bitch in our breed with a lovely coat -not that coat is everything, it just helps :-)
I have 2 entire males so sure she hasnt had silent ones! The oldest I have heard of is 22 months.

I wouldn't worry hon, but if you have concerns just call and check with your vet. By the sound of things she's happy and healthy. :)
