Topic Dog Boards / Feeding / reasonably priced dog food for small breed

Hi,
Hope you all can help. I feed my dogs Royal canin at the moment but am looking for a cheaper alternative maintenance food for adult dogs. I have a variety of dogs ranging from a pug to japanese spitz so need the food to be in small bite size pieces. I will continue with Royal Canin till they are 2 years old and finished growing but any idea on cheaper good quality foods after this age?
Many thanks in advance :)

I don't know how much RC costs but it's always worth checking online prices if you usually buy from a store.  Online is often a lot cheaper and if you buy two bags or more it's generally free to deliver...

If cost is still an issue then I know a lot of people who recommend CSJ.  They will send you samples so you can check kibble sizes.  I tried CSJ Lamb & Rice once and my gundogs liked the taste but the size was a bit big - so perhaps don't choose that one!

I'd also recommend Arden Grange and Fish4Dogs both for food and customer service, although again I'm not sure how the price compares :)

This is who i use. Not only do they do good food which gets delivered to your door they also have well qualified staff who really helped me when i went through a bad spell of upset stomachs with my dogs. Would consider taking a look :-)
