I was going to call the topic"frustrstion"but thought youd all be disapointed when you realised i was talking about money!But frustrated I am,none the less! 
My petfood supplier delivered an order on wednesday morning,before the van had even left the street I was emailing them to find out why theyd added £54 pounds to my bill(no explanation) Id already checked my bank account,to see if there were any missed payments,but none that I could see(they have my details,and the money gets taken a couple of days after the meat has been delivered) well,they didnt reply,and yes,Im wishing Id rung them now!I emailed again on friday morning,still nothing.Now I see the whole amount has been taken from my bank account,leaving it looking pretty sick!.If I owe the money,then fair enough,but fancy not putting"owing from so and so"next to just"+£54" Ive rung this morning but it went to answerphone,left a message but I expect theyre not working today.i ll try again later,anyway.Feel better after that moan,thanks for letting me let off steam!

Is this a direct debit payment? If so, it will be covered by a guarantee and your bank can retrieve the payment if you alert them quickly enough!

no,shivj,they just have my card details,i place the order,then they take the money a day or so after delivery.Im hoping all will be revealed tomorrow,when they are back at work and can be bothered to answer my email/phonecall!If it is their mistake(which i sincerely hope!)I suppose they ll refund it.I just wish theyd given me an inkling what it was for!

Finally got in touch,it seems i had an outstanding order from april,which would have been their fault anyway as they have my details and take the money once the order is delivered,but as it happened i HAD paid for it,because Id checked.So I got"if theres a problem,we ll refund you"that was on monday morning,and so far, no refund and no communication.How long would you wait for a refund to appear in your bank account? Im getting a bit annoyed!

48 hours on working day max they have your bank details and can do a direct transfer

As it is their mistake I would expect a refund immediately and an apology. Failing that, I would be cancelling the card and changing my dog food supplier. i would get back to them to make sure they have established that you did pay in April and that they are in fact due you money.

got an apology yesterday when i reminded them about the refund,but no refund has appeared in my bank yet!I do like this suppliers products and dont want to change,but much more of this and I will! To say I first contacted them about this last wednesday morning!
