Please can you tell me how many CC's you have to get at an Open show to
become a Champion, and how many at an champion show?.

How many points is each CC worth?.

Think you've got CC's and Junior Warrent points mixed together!!!

To become a Champion a dog needs to win three CC's under 3 different judges, and at least one of these must be when the dog is over the age of 12 months - not that too many pups win cc's <grin>.

CC's are only available at Championship shows, not Open Shows.

Junior warrents, hmmm, I'm may not be totally correct but I'll try

You need to get 25 points between the ages of 6 months & 18 months.
12 points from Championship shows, and 10 points from Open shows with the other 3 points coming from either. You get 3 points for a class win at a Champ show and 1 point for a class win at an open show. But there must be 3 dogs in the class (at either show). If there is not 3 in the class at an open show, but you get BOB you get a point. You can only get points at one show in a weekend.

No I think you are right Sarah, nonsence aint it. To my mind it just encourages over showing and the entering of all sorts of strange exhibits just to put the numbers up to 3 per class. Think it is an award for the staminar and wealth of the owner. Rather than the excellence of the dog.;) This is particulaly so in breeds with low numbers.
