I can't resist the sunshine so was out at the crack of dawn mowing the lawn that is surrounded by a fence to keep the dogs off. Whilst doing this 1 dog used brute force to barge her way through the supposedly dog proof fence across the decking whilst the other leaped over the fence that supposedly keeps them off the raised vegetable beds and started digging to australia! I now plan to hoover the house to get rid of all the dog hair and will probably hoover again later as it will look like I hadnt bothered this morning!

Wouldn't be without them though :-)

my husband has just commented on how much i am hoovering at the moment, they are all blowing their coats together so should just have tumbleweed blowing around for the next few weeks , never had them all blowing together normally one starts, one finishes one starts so can last months.
with regard to the garden, we tried dog proof fencing i now do not believe in it, so we put up small fence panels and decking and gate so we now have the dog garden and my small bit, (notice i get the small bit) and the dogs have astro turf down and theylove it , i hoover it when it gets to bad .
but like you love them and they make me smile.

My husband just commented on how LITTLE I hoover!!lol.  Seriously, even my short haired dogs are throwing coats at the minute! And the cat.  Hair everywhere and if you dare pat anyone, you end up with hands like a werewolf!
I caught the dog sitting on the wall out the back watching the guiena pigs running about their hutch this morning and when she got bored she decided to have a chew at the bamboo screening.  When I chapped the window to get her to stop, she swung her head round to stare at the piggies like it was them!!haha too funny!
I think the nice, sunny mornings bring out the best in our pups!NOT!

I hoover the dogs AND the floor daily!!! We are getting the start of a moult and I am in love with my dyson grooming attachment!

I know the feeling! Nando is moulting at the minute really heavily. Today I gave him a good brush and got a carrier bag full of hair, as well as the hair from the floor that filled the hoover. The other three tons of hair went in my eyes and mouth! Euugh.

Oh and to top it off, we're having a new paved patio area put in the garden, as well as fitting new patio where the old patio was. Currently the garden is just rubble waste land. Thankfully we've got only a small area for Nando cordoned off, but the dust is just absolutely everywhere. We know he's been on the couch when we're out the room because we've got grey paw prints on the leather couch.

I knew I wouldn't be the only one! Especially with the never ending cleaning up of dog hairs! :-)
