Check her with a piece of tissue first thing in the morning before she goes out for a pee, if there is a red or pink stain then she may be in season but if not take her to the vet as she may have an infection.
thanks nova didnt think about infection! dah!! x

Of course, it is possible she may have a pink or red discharge with an infection but I would suspect that it is her first season.

Years ago I had a Yorkshire Terrier cross as a pet. She had her first season at 5 months old. The youngest I've ever had in all my years with dogs. She had the most horrendous phantom afterwards and I had her spayed as soon as she had settled down.
im hoping she isnt in season jean i will check her in the morning, shes gone to bed now with my daughter. my 2 shep girls came into season at 6months and 1 at 7months and then had their seasons every 4months :( so as 1 brought other in we got afew weeks and then it all started again lol (both spayed now thank god lol)
