i have a rac sat nav and the sound has gone off, anyone had this problem before, everything else is working but the sound, just put it on and no sound checked the volume and it is up as loud as possible, got no idea what  is wrong with it anyone help before i go and buy a new one thankyou.

I had this problem when my Tom Tom just suddenly stopped talking after my mum borrowed it.  I googled the problem which gave some good advice.  I ended up plugging it in to the computer and went to the Tom Tom site and sorted it out like that.  Im sure the RAC will have a site the same so definately worth a try.
