Last week we had T-Bone at the vet cause it seemed like she couldn't poo. Also had urine analysis done on here cause her lil area was pretty red.
Polysporin and a wet napkin cleaned her up real nice. She has had some poo's since then. Rather then that the vet said she was healthy

Saturday we went for a nice walk, she was all happy in herself, but Sunday didn't want to eat anything. She is drinking but still has not eaten
anything- and its now Tuesday. She wanted to go for a walk today so thought ok- took all dogs to the tennis court and threw the ball- she/they
all really enjoyed themselves. She drank when we got back- no problem there. She had a little solid poo this morning and my son said she had
the runs this afternoon- don't understand if she has not had anything how she is even pooping?

All the dogs are on the same food Taste of The Wild which she does enjoy. I have offered treats, turkey and nothing. I am now
making her some rice and see if she will eat that. Plus I made a bowl of Honest Kitchen which I will be offering her.

T-Bone is 11 1/2 yrs old. The last time I had a dog go off his food 5 days later he passed away of old age. He did take his treats lol With him
I also cooked chicken and Rice, bought a bunch of canned food as well. He too ended up with the diarrhea the night before he passed. He was
not up to going for walks at all.

Am I over thinking this?

It is very difficult to tell as going off their food could be a number of things.

I know when we lost Moose her appetite over a couple of days declined until
the day she was put to sleep. That morning I couldn't tempt her with anything so knew something was seriously wrong .

I would just keep trying her with different things but if T Bone is still refusing food in the next couple of days I would visit your vet again .

I have offered some Honest Kitchen- something she could just lap up, made it very soupy, and also
rice. Hubby made her some broth and No, she wouldn't touch it. Thought lets try peanut butter, she even turned her nose up at that. Hubby
pulled some ribs out of the fridge and still no. I am going to pick up some canned food and I hope that gets her going.
She did drink a lot of water after the walk yesterday and about 3 hrs later puked up some bile, rather then
that she just lays around. If she knows your going for a walk she wants to come, not sure where she is
getting the energy for that- we don't go very far, I don't want to over do it. That's when she seems to be enjoying herself.

I have her booked in Friday morning at 10 am. Just making sure she keeps drinking- that's about all I can do at the moment.
I have to pay for another exam and think we will be getting x-rays done on her. Her teeth look good I wonder if she may have
a problem with them- but they only have a little plaque on them. I brush them every day.

Just at a total loss and very worried- I am a worrier which does not help :-(

If you're worried go to the vet sooner - no point waiting. I'm afraid I don't take any chances if I feel my dog is really poorly - and why spend two more days worrying ?. The vet won't mind changing appointments I'm sure.

How's T-Bone doing ?.

T-Bone is actually doing great now!! :-)
She started eating a little bit on Thursday so I canceled the vet app. She ate pretty good this morning,
actually wanted her treat and her glucosamine pill. Her poo isn't like water any more- more like pudding.

Can dogs get the flue?
Now she don't seem like she was ill at all- back to her old self which is stress off me- thank goodness!

Great news !.

It can be so simple , a drink of different water , or from a stream or puddle ,snails , slugs, toys left out in the garden overnight , anything can give an upset tum , same as with us ....easier if they could talk !

Ya so true. Would be so much easier if they
could talk.
