I'm in love!! I've had a visit from a 14mth old choccy lab and I wurve him.  Why have you lab owners been keeping this fabby breed quiet? I'm sure my OH wouldn't even notice a teeny weeny chocy lab among the spaniels.  What do you lot think?! ;) lol.

:-D :-D He may notice once the teeny weeny chocky lab starts to grow, might give the game away. ;-)

They are pretty adorable aren't they, but aren't all pups?

If you get one like Saffi he won't notice - cos it'll be doing a ninja trick and be right behind his legs all the time so he can't see it!!

Stood on her twice today already.  Not the smartest of dogs lol!

Me quiet about my chocolate girls ? Never !

I have had them for nearly twenty five years and intend on getting a few more in between the IWS which is the next pup on my list !

Carrington, he's a mighty big boy the lab I have at the minute!  All body and a huge head but not a pick of fat on him.  All the labs I am used to seeing are big barrel fat things(sorry lab owners!!).  I might not give this boy back.....And he's so obedient and lovely natured.  Pee'ed up my wall right enough but we'll excuse that!
Nah, I'm sorry, I think I'm sold! Although my daughter still prefers the flatties!!lol.

Doh! Read your post too quickly he's 14 months isn't he? Not 4 months. He's not little at all. :-D

(Ok better get back to work, I keep sneaking on here :-D)

How many do you have LJS? And the best bit is, I'm not allergic!! However this dog did have quite a long coat with a sort of wave in.  Not like the other labs I've seen.

I have two at the moment but have normally had three at anyone time .

If you pm me I will give you my FB details and you can have a nosey in my pictures as there are plenty of pictures of present and past girls.

They have all been very different but Moose the girl I lost just before Christmas was a big girl and was often mistaken for a dog because of her build ( not fat just big boned and muscly )

He might not nave noticed my Jetstone Jewel.  :)  She was only 56 pounds and people used to behemoth sized Labs often thought she was either NOT a lab at all, or a puppy.  In Canada our standard has height and weight ranges specified.  Yours doesn't have weight I think, and yours has lower heights.  Anyway, Jet fit in at the bottom of the range.

My current boy, Oban, is 68 pounds and 23" which is about the middle of our standard, and people still think he is too small.  I can lift him which was a main consideration.

Though strikingly different in personality they were/are both lovely, lovely dogs.
