Topic Dog Boards / Showing / Metal crates

Morning all,

I noticed a couple of people at Crufts had fold up crates that were more or less solid sided. I have tried to find them online but have had no luck. Does anyone know where I might source them?
Thanks,
Jeff.

I'd forgotten how much I want their stuff :-)!

Yes! They're the fellows. The exhibitor I saw with them was Norwegian so they might have been Eastcoast or a copy? Not off to the states any tie soon so will have to find a source closer to home.
Thanks,
Jeff.

There's something about the Omero ones that make them look very trendy! The price doesn't seem so bad either :)

I've bought the crate plates from Omero's sister company, Metalic Products.  They had the trade stand next door to us at Crufts last year.  Lovely couple and very obliging

OMG the prices!! I know the others are crazy prices in the thousands, but these are still over £500!!!

They are a bit pricey aren't they!

My concern would be that the dog would be too warm especially in the summer an outdoor show, black metal with not much ventilation.

I don,t use crates at shows but ventilation would be a concern for me as well.

My god, I find lugging my foldup canvas crate, my bags and my dog into a show enough work without that sort of crate. Looks HEAVY.
