I have a Bullmastiff bitch who as been out of season for about a week now.The problem is ever since she came out of season she is leaking clear discharge everywhere without her knowing it.The discharge is not a smell of urine but maybe a fishy smell.The vets as told me to keep a eye on her for about a week but it doesnt seem to be getting heavier or lighter.Can anybody help me on this.

Possibly pyometra?

I also thought that but the vet says its a black discharge and as long as she isnt feeling under the weather everything should be ok.She is still running about and playing like there is nothing to worry about.She is only 8 months old and have been told to keep an eye on her.Thanks for the reply.
