Please would someone who gets 'Our Dogs' paper to check and see if the dalmatian critique for Hinckley & DCS has been published (also Coalville & DCS, Sutton Coldfield & DCS and Ashbourne DCS if possible)? They never seem to be published in Dog World, which is disheartening because Daisy's has some good placings and I'd like to know what the judges thought.
Thanks for trying. I'm particularly interested in the Hinckley crit (the show was only a month ago so there's still hope) because she did really well, getting BPiB, BoB, G3 and PG3.
I think in her first 6 months of showing, getting several BPiBs, she's only had one critique. :-(
Jean its not good is it? Ive been waiting to see if my critiques have been printed and again had some good group and puppy group placings with her and want to know what the judge thoight!
If there are any Rott results for Ashford, Horsham, Woolwich and Horley I'd appreciate those.. Oh and East Kent :-)
I bought a 2 month trial and just getting to grips with 'Our Dogs' but I'm showing Dalmation crits for Sutton Coldfield under Helen Tingeyn 25th Feb... Was Ashbourne in Dec? If so, I can see that one too
I get really fed up of judges not sending critiques - IMHO they shouldn't take the appointment if they aren't prepared to write the critiques. It's especially annoying at champ shows where you pay a small fortune to enter, have the delight of winning a bit of coloured cardboard ( not even a pretty rosette at most) then get no indication from the judge what they thought of your dog! Time for the Kennel club to come down on lazy judges with a big heavy boot :-D
I've managed to get another app access to DW, could you if you have a chance see if the critiques for Rotts have been printed for the above shows DAB? They aren't in DW :-(
Yes, Ashbourne was in December, and Sutton Coldfield on 25th Feb. I'd be ever so grateful if you could tell me what was said. :-) (Un less it's horrible! ;-) )
Hi JG and Suejaw - yes happy to look but in the middle of painting gloss at the mo and can't stop yet, then need to get to PO before 5pm. Can you PM me puppy names and I'll have a proper look through for you later :)
I know how you feel. I am very aggrieved that when my pup took BPIB then went on to take BPIS there has still not been a critique for the show that was in November. The judge is well aware but obviously could not be bothered to put pen to paper. I don't think people should take a judging appointment unless they are prepared to do the critique.
The critiques never arrived from Crufts 2011 for our breed. A complaint was finally made and upheld by the KC, resulting in a fine for the judge and a ban on awarding CCs for our breed...
I know this thread has been up recently, but I think the KC needs to take action on judges that default on the terms of their contract unless there is some compelling reason for failing to submit critiques.
