We are still in the middle of trying to get some plans resubmitted on some changes we want to make to redesign upstairs and increase our space significantly by putting in two new dormas and knock through walls etc to give us three double bedrooms plus a large ensuite with double shower and seperate bath.
We already have two further bedrooms and two bathrooms down stairs but doing this will mean our house will finally be our vision of what we knew could be done and thus increasing the value significantly so realising the investment potential.
Anyway two years later and a catalogue of errors and just unnecessary hurdles because of idiots and a stroppy next door neighbour we are trying for resubmission. We at trying to get a site plan sorted as the last one our architect submitted and that was published on the last attempt of submission was for a road somewhere in a town not even any where near us !!
So I asked a question today to the planners if we submitted our original plans that were rejected would the spplication be viewed differently and more likely to get passed ?
The answer ( and take into consideration this is the planning Office of the one and only David Cameron ! ) I am sorry but the law may have changed today but nobody knows what the changes are , and how it will affect future applications

It is a worry isn't it !!
I think we may have a few more months before we get this application re submitted !!
