Did you see how they showed the baby being taken home in the van, being held by the mother and not strapped into a baby seat ! ITV are so irresponsible, Grrrr.
I saw the preview and thought the same thing myself. It is my understanding that a nurse/midwife now escorts you when its your time to leave hospital?think its to Do with baby thefts in the past. When we brought our daughter home last year it really was high security having to be 'checked out ' and the last thing the nurse did was check she was securely fitted in her car seat.
Itv have made a big boo boo.think there will be outrage to follow the episode.
I have already emailed my complaint !
Anyhow, how has Fred taken to being a big brother ?!
I don't think you'll be the only one!! Aah thank you for asking. He took a little while to readjust but has been perfect really.as a newborn we didn't need a baby monitor-as soon as she stirred fred would find us and 'alert' us!there are times when I let him go upstairs to have some peace from her but now she's walking around everywhere they literally Chase each other for hours.he barks when she squels in delight and vice versa-sometimes its like having twins.its comical and heartwarming to watch.I'm so pleased they can grow up together happily.makes me a very proud mummy...especially when she likes to grab his lead I'm holding whilst pushing her in the pram :)
Ahh... How lovely !
I was driving through a village recently and there was a mum pushing a buggy, and in the buggy was a girl of about 3 holding a dogs lead and she was leaning around the side of the buggy looking back at an old Labrador who was trailing behind. He was a bit grey around the mouth and walking along looking quite reluctant, but this little girl couldn't take her eyes off him and she looked quite proud !
I have to confess that it brought a tear to my eye !
When my brother and I were babies my Mum convinced my Dad she needed a huge pram so that young puppies, or any of the oldies, could hitch a ride on the tray underneath when they got tired on long walks. One of our OES also learned to rock the baby bouncer with his paw to stop us from crying...and dogs are the best thing when youngsters learn to feed themselves-any food missing the edge of the high chair gets cleaned up instantly!

We did this with our little spaniel when she was young and we were out a long walk. She would hitch a ride in the basket of the pram. She would sit and look out for a while but I would keep a snuggy blanket in there for her, so it wouldn'nt be long before she would be sleeping. My kids all did the lead thing too when in their prams! So cute.
my grandaughters have always wanted to hold the dogs lead when walking so we used to put two leads on one for them to hold the other for me, the dogs would proudly trot alongside the buggy and the girls used to think they where the ones walking the dogs,
all the kids including my own learned to walk hanging around a dogs neck for balance and now we got nana can i take the posh dogs out, she means she wants the sparkly show leads on not the tatty ones we use in agility,
she came in the other day and said nana look i got a suit come on she said and dragged one of the small dogs off into the garden to try it out with the suit, she is wanting to get into the show ring but they do not live so close to me for her to come to ringcraft etc .
