Topic Dog Boards / General / Normal breathing?
- By gwen [gb] Date 14.03.12 22:53 UTC
We had a very long couple of threads about PDE2/vetting at Crufts etc.  On one of them someone posted a link to a video of a bunch of pugs out for a walk in a wood,  and the dogs were criticised for very noisy breathing as they played around - someone compared them to an asthmatic convention.  Just seen this video of C Kisko and her dogs - if you can get past the schmaltzy music just listen to the dogs - the puffing and panting almost drowns out the voice!  And no, I am not suggesting that these sled dogs have inefficeient breathing systems, but these are dogs at rest, simply wandering around and slowly interacting - I think the pug breathing was unfairly judged by comparison. http://m.youtube.com/watch?gl=GB&hl=en-GB&client=mv-google&v=uK-HW60MaO0
