Does any one know of a show breeder in the north west who may be willing to give help and lots of advice to someone who wants to start out x thanks

North west is a bit vague . There is a list of breeders of Westies on champdogs .You could try contacting them directly.

I'm in bury lancashire I looked at the breeder list but was unsure who shows and who doesn't

Take a chance ..most of them do , to get their dogs known  , wins always help  get the affix and your name known , and your reputation then can be seen at the ringside , both yours and the dogs ! Or cross reference their names , with their affix or websites and if they print show results .....

I am sure Geoff Corish breeds/show westies under the sealaw affix. Well, at least he used to. He is based in Preston, Lancs.
His partner is Michael Coad (Pamplona bichons and std poodles). Geoff judged the Utility Group at Crufts this year :-)
