Could any one out there reccomend a Vet in the Essex area, or near, who specialises in St Bernards? My friend has a young bitch with leg problems, and needs a specialist, Many Thanks!

Ask your vet for a referal to an orthopedic vet. Jackie

Hi guest, I havnt got St bernards, but do have a giant breed. My vet is used to giants, and would probably recommend to to an Orthopaedic vet at Upminster. If you want more information, you can e mail me at sighthounds@hotmail.com

I don't know if this helps but maybe your friend could get her vet to refer her dog to Langford Vet College near Bristol. We had a St Bernard with problems with his legs and our vet referred him there as they have the facilities to deal with such a large dog.
