I have a girl here who has had 4 seasons actually this is the third just gone...

her first was fine normal...second was horrible...third normal and this one....she is so clean had i not know that licking like she was wasnt normal id have not know she was in season..

last time it was so bad she would scrape her lady bits on the concrete outside causing bleeding...

she will be walking along fly around and lick..now what shes done is blister her bits..shes been to the vets whos given her tablets and a cream..iv cut out a pair or 1-2yr old baby knickers (lol) and cut a tal out,but shes really sore on her lady bits....does anyone eles get this (not personally pml)
but dog wise...?had it? know what to do about it?or should i just spey her and be done with it?

I can see someone thinking why let it get this far, well whilst shes bleeding she will lick so much thats when it gets sore hense her licking ect...

seriously thinking of just speying

thoughts?????

Spey her, if you are not going to breed her and put her out of her obvious misery

Licking to this extent won't just make her raw, it will become ulcerated.  She will feel unbelievably sore.   When a bitch gets so fastidious that she is causing herself that much discomfort, it is far kinder to have her spayed.  She can't go on like this.
