I was looking on Ebay for something and did a search. In the list of the items which had an average price of £4-£5 there was on which looked the same as the others but was on sale for £1111.49! It said that the seller had more than 10 available and had sold 251.
On looking at this sellers other items he has several hundred items for sale of which at least half are over £1000 and ridiculously overpriced. For example 25 cm wooden chopping board £1000 (55 sold).  6 rolls of duct tape £1115 (only 2 sold). Shower radio £1119.95 (17 sold). Pack of 30 cotton tea towels  £2115.95 (92 sold).  and the bargain of the lot Super absorbent mop £8111.95. (5 sold) and on a lot of these items you still have to pay for postage.
I may be fairly dense but I am assuming this is some sort of scam but I cannot for the life of me work out why someone would pay such stupid prices for these items? Just wondering if anyone can enlighten me?

I've just done a search and looked through sellers feedback (all) . I can only see that he has sold reasonably priced items , even in the last month so my guess is that their account has been hacked or someone playing an awful joke on them.
