stopped at the junction on the road with my car and it is a dual carriage way and you pull into the slip bit to cross the other side of the dual carriage way so i am turning right and a boy is standing on the cars left in the middle central reservation of the carriage way and as i started to pull out he still looking to his left ran out across the front of my car and bounced i had not moved he hit the front of my car i shot across the dual carriage way stopped jumped out and he was now walking beside my car, i was so annoyed at him i pulled the earphones out of his ears and he just stopped dead and was so shocked i said you bloody idiot, you could of been killed WHAAAT if i had been pulling away or not stopping in the slip road and kept going as you ran across the carriage way you would be dead , you take these damn things out your ears and use if you have one a brain and cross the road properly, if i had to go and see your parents because i put you in hospital do you have any idea how both of us would feel, ok he said no need to give me aggro , aggro if you have damaged the car you going to pay for it as you where jaywalking so do you think it is ok now, he looked so shocked and said sorry and walked off,he was only about 14 if that it give me such a fright and it was all because he had those bloody earphones in and was not aware of anything else around him
Whatever happened to the road safety adverts that were on t.v. back in the 70's & 80's? We need another Jimmy Saville!
About time a more modern version was screened.
Earphones should come with a health warning written all over them!
While i was driving along a busy, fast road yesterday a football rolled out into the road right in front of my car. I stopped, not because of the ball but because i was half expecting a child to be in hot pursuit!

I bet you are really shocked.. you let him off lightly under the circumstances .. should have rung the police and let them give him a boll***ing... it could have been so much worse... glad you are ok
Did he have a school uniform on that you recognise ... ring the school and let them know how thier children behave outside, might encourage them to give road safety talk.
I reported the children in my area from a senior school who were running into a busy main road playing chicken and placing items in the middle of the road that would hit cars .. I was infurated and they listened.
