i am wondering if these work? i used to feed birds and squirrels alike at the end of my garden behind a fence and could see the birds through binoculars in the kitchen.
however, the dogs barked all the time at squirrels so i stopped putting out food and the barking is less
i was wondering if i put up squirrel buster feeders that the squirrels will eventualy give up and stop coming so i can feed the birds without the dogs barking??

Squirrels are opportunists so if they are in the vicinity they'll keep calling into your garden to have another look around and attempt to 'learn' how to break your feeders.  They'll also pick up anything that drops onto the ground.  I have a barker and squirrel chaser so I know exactly what you mean but luckily squirrels are pretty uncommon here - not enough trees.  They sometimes pass through en route to somewhere else and if they're spotted it's 'all hell let loose'

The anti squirrel feeders are pretty effective at keeping them out of the food but they're very persistent.  You're probably safer just not to try and feed the birds but you could try moving your feeders to a place where the dogs can't see.  Is your front garden any better?
