My housemate has just announced she's going to be moving out - so I need to find another lodger sharpish.

Trouble is of course I have 8 dogs - pet friendly let of course but I imagine it might take a wee while to find someone happy to live with them.

Don't suppose anyone knows anyone needing a place nr Scunthorpe or any forums or places I could look?

I always had lots of success advertising on the usual websites like flatmate click and spare room.  If you say you have 8 dogs plenty people won't be interested but it only takes 1....

If you lived nearer and allowed 2 more dogs i'd be interested!!! lol..

Looking at other options at the moment - there's a chance I *might* be able to manage, just need to know when she's going to go exactly so I can get organised.  Going to talk to her tomorrow.  I'm also looking at the possibility of a debt relief order - looks like I should fit the criteria which would make a massive difference and I could then afford the place by myself.  Would be only just, but preferable to renting to a stranger, and the dogs having to get used to them (especially Rai, who does spook at people sometimes, even the current lodger).  Plus my self employed stuff is building nicely so hopefully I wouldn't be scraping by for long.  But again, need to talk to someone first for more details on that.

But still helpful to know where to look if I do need someone, it's not something I've had to do before - I've had 3 lodgers here but two were already friends and the third was the second one's girlfriend!

There is indeed - but Remy then becomes the problem :-(  He's fine with Linc now after his initial dubiousness (is that a word?) but I honestly don't think they would be a good mix with him, and one of them I doubt would cope well here.

Plus there's naff all in the way of work here for the owner.

I have thought about offering though, and will keep them in mind still if we are still both stuck.
