I have been toying over the past few years with getting started with the KCAI scheme and just wondered if anyone on here has anything to do with it- currently working towards being accredited or is already?
Or if anyone has any thoughts in general about it?

I know someone who started recently. She's finding it quite tough going, even though she has a lot of experience in teaching/competing in obedience, but says it's very worthwhile as it is making her think why she does things a particular way.

Sorry, when I saw the title, there was me thinking the kennel club were setting up canine semen storage for Artificial insemination to preserve semen from little used dogs, or in breeds with late onset diseases where stored semen could be used from long lived dogs.

At the moment semen storage is very ad hoc and the worry is always what happens if the company you store with goes under/stops offering the service.
