i got a rottie 2 months ago, i was told he is mixed with some kind of shepard. i got him when he was 2 months old. he is extremly attached to me. i can even go to the restroom with out him trying to get thru the bedroom door. ive tried to leave another dog he likes to play with in the room so i can take a shower, but half way thru my shower i heard him howling. even if somebody is in the room with him, he still does it. what do i do?

Sounds like separation anxiety.

A good read: http://www.dogtrainingclassroom.com/dog-separation-anxiety.html

A lot of great helpful advice :-)

I have two boys who will happily stay on their own with or with out each other if we go out but when I am there they like to be with me all the time and follow me everywhere.
If I go into a room and close the door they will scratch the door and have a winge but then will lay outside the door until I come out, (when they were younger they would make a bigger fuss if I shut the door on them)  I must admit I feel honoured that they want to be with me all the time and do not see it as a problem but obviously if we couldnt go out without them making a fuss it would be a different matter.
