Have had this for 18 months plus now but keeps playing up. Have changed battteries and reset etc but sometimes either stops working, slows down or cursor 'floats' if that makes sense.  Is it that it has come towards the end of its lifespan do you think or am I missing something.

First thing I would check is the sensor in the base of the mouse, last time mine played up I found half an elkhound stuck in there.

OK, may be the battery contacts have become a bit greasy, try cleaning them and the battery contact points. If when it is playing you up does changing the battery make any difference or is it still the same?

Tried that so gave up and have bought a wired set. Can feel differenece already :-)
