Has any one recieved their passes yet? If not any idea when we get them?

It's a bit early yet. They usually arrive in good time though -can't remember exactly when.

have got my drop off pass, should be soon, about a month before if i remember correctly.

The YKC passes are being sent out now.

YKC received at our house (and very separate from the main passes!) ....  but I do know people abroad have received their Crufts passes!

Just received an envelope today from the kennel club with crufts on it, so I assumed that it was my passes etc.

Infact it was just a load of advertising bumff and apparently passes are being sent out seperately.

Now I find this really odd as didn't the kennel club not routinely send out schedules to last years exhibitors to save on postage and to be  more enviromentally friendly.

So how can they explain sending two different envelopes out to every exhibitor? surely that in itself is a waste of postage!

For the past 2 years  I haven't had this. Could you please check what it says about the free eye testing and share it? The phone number, the date to phone etc. I'm determined not to miss out again!

Re the eye testing they need your exhibitor number which is on your passes which no one has as yet. A friend put this dilemma up onto fb as he was rather annoyed..

Just checked his fb page and someone who works at Fosse has said to call them, they will give you your exhibitor number over the phone in order to book the eye testing!!

Please note: The Crufts passes have not been sent. The first lot are going out tonight with the rest hopefully been sent by the end of the week.

I think from what Fosse have said is to call them for you exhibitor number and then you can call the relevant number to book the eye test, as in now!!

Not free anymore just 600 reduced price to £21, which to be honest we can get at various show/club sessions for £23ish, so hardly worth the hassle to do it at Crufts battling your way through the crowds with your dog.

:( No definitely not worth it then!! Especially trying to plan it around the dog going in the ring and the eye test having been at least 2 hours earlier, or after the judging. Bit of a hike from 0 to 21!!!!!

Got the YKC passes today but not the offers -bet I won't get them this year either which will make it 3 years running.

There aren't really any 'offers' in the pack. Not like how it used to be!

I don't get the envelope full of rubbish any more since I started witholding my address for Crufts and all Ch shows.  Years ago it was full of money off coupons, free food etc etc now just junk mail.

I've wondered if that could be it as I too withhold my address. What REALLY annoyed me last year though was that I did not even get the letter offering me an advert in the catalogue after having won BOB in 2010! That was so disappointing!

I withhold too so will let you know if I get my 'special' pack!

Just latching on the end here ...... ive decided not to show this year but am planning a shopping day on the Sunday with a friend, I just wondered if anyone has a pass they can spare ? I know in the past I have given away my spare handler pass as my dog is owned in partnership, just wondered if anyone has one they don't need :)

Well I have an answer now. If you tick the box saying you don't want your address details to be given out to the press (such as local paper) then you don't get the envelope with offers! That info came from Fosse.

Oh right ... can't remember what I did /didn't do on that one - usually I opt out of such things!  This isn't junk mail though is it it's relevant offers to the exhibitor!  and why they send it separately from the passes I do not know - surely it should come as one package ?

Good detective work though Marianne and at least we have our answer!

I withhold my address and didn't receive the "junk mail" but have received my passes this morning.

Passes arrived today and no bumpf...

Ours arrived today. No leaflets. Three weeks on saturday...better find something to wear soon!

Bumpf Yesterday passes arrived today.

Well I had the Bumpf, but it was mostly put through the shredder.

Of course I didn't enter Inka for Manchester as she was expected in season some time from the beginning of Jan to February, she hasn't come in season yet, so is bound to be in season for Crufts!!!

No passes yet, but had to enter two dogs to get hubby in.

My passes arrived today. Now I am just waiting for the DD passes.

no passes here (just our YKC) but I did get the bumpf !  so I guess I didn't opt out of the press malarky!
