I can't see how on paper that I can request this or even if its possible?

I have 2 breeds and both are in the Working group. There are some general CH shows coming up this year in which I wish to enter both breeds and want to know if there is anyway of getting them benched together? I know I can try and tag on at the end of a bench and use an unused bench  but would like them on paper together rather than hoping someone is not using said bench..
I know you can request to be benched next to friends etc but didn't know if this was possible?

No it isn't -not even within the same group. It made LKA interesting for sure as we had 2 different breeds entered in two different halls! I don't know what you mean about request being benched next to friends? It's always in alphabetical order but if you enter a dog as "handled by" somebody, it will be benched under that name as opposed to under the owner's -but still within the breed it is.

As previous, no it is not possible as dogs are benched by breed not owner. Occasionally we have had folk bench their other breed together but that really does depend on size...it would be a bit difficult to bench a large breed with a small or even medium size together..lol & it hasnt been all day just while one or the other was being judged...

Thank you, will just have to find an extra bench to put them together then.. I am normally at the end of the breeds surname wise..

I would actually think that there is a way online.  There's a bit that says something about handler at the bottom of the entry when you are entering your dogs, I suppose you could put there that you are the handler of one dog and that way you will be benched together if my brain is remembering correctly????

PDAE this is what I said -you can enter somebody else's dog as handled by you and you will then be benched under your name only so together -but ONLY if it is the same breed.

I used to take with me a dog from another breed as NFC. I always did a paper entry and requested on the form 'please bench with...' All the champ shows I entered obliged. Don't know if they would if dog entered for competition though.

Thats true dancer.. Well I have nothing to loose by putting on the entry form please bench together.
