My husband got a phone call the other afternoon from a guy who would like to use our boy on, yes, you guessed it, HIS POODLE. Obviously my husband , in the nicest possible way,told him to pop off. However he was saying that only the working people would allow their dogs to be used and they weren't health checked so he wanted our boy as he has good health results, but even more so, the frightening thing to come out of his mouth was that he wasn't concerned about good temperament, it wasn't his main priority. Now to me it is the most important thing in the dog. Yes, we want a dog to conform to the breed standard but most of the dogs we breed are going to pet homes who want a good quality animal and one that they can take out without it trying to kill another dog or indeed a person. I think this just proves just how irresponsible the Doodle breeders are.

It's amazing how folk think that a doodle is the answer to everything and expect to make a fortune at the same time! My heart goes out to all the responsible and dedicated poodle breeders who must be totally fed up with how their breed is being abused like this.

Poodles are fantastic dogs and to see them fall into the hands of the many unscruplious so called breeders out there is heart breaking
