Hi Denise,
I would strongly advise against getting another male stafford as the liklihood is that they will fight - and it is never worth the risk, unless you are prepared to keep them seperated all the time they cannot be directly superviesed.
I would wait until your boy was 2 years old at the very youngest before you thought about getting another pup in as well, let him mature mentally before you bring a bad influence into the house ;)
i would also advise against breeding as a hobby... it is not as easy as it seems! you would have to buy a bitch that complimented your boys lines, wait until she was 2 years old at the youngest - which means keeping them seperated (one kenneled even) for 3 weeks twice a year.
Getting a second stafford is not as easy as just getting a second dog - you have to be prepared for much upheaval, and the possibility that they may not get on even if they are of a different sex... if you do get a second , you must ensure that they are not left alone when you are out, and that the older has an opportunity to escape the baby when you are around...
There are many thing to consider, but if you are prepred for every eventuality then it is a joy, but bl**dy hard work!
