I recently adopted a siberian husky bitch born circa 2009/2010.

According to the previous owner, Char was the runt of a litter born in Devon, August 2009 or 10 (they keep changing their minds...), offspring of a small family run kennel.

If anybody knows of such litter/kennel please let me know. Since I have received no paperwork that confirms the previous owners allegations and therefore have no knowledge of genetic profile to eye/hip problems, a little background info on Char, through contact with breeders or litter mates would be helpful!

Many thanks, A

To be honest unless you have Kennel club registered names (highly likely this was from the many irresponsibly Puppy farmed/Back Yard Bred for money litters cashing in on the 'snow dogs' fashion.

You are very unlikely to find any background.

Decent breeders who KC register and health test etc their litters are usually ultra careful how they home their puppies (though we can all be taken in and one of our pups go astray) and would have a contract with the buyer and be willing/eager to have any dog they bred back for their expert knowledge for re-homing.

Good breeders are highly likely to have had pups they breed permanently identified (especially with the amount of bad husky breeding going on, resulting in a huge rescue issue), by Microchip or tattoo.
