Took my lovely boy to our second ever open show this weekend. He won best of breed and then 3rd place in the hound group of about 13 dogs! am amazed and delighted! He also got really lovely compliments all day which was wonderful. We are really enjoying this as a new hobby but I still expected to be laughed out of the place as he is a racing bred dog not a show bred dog but it's all going wonderfully :) :)

That's fantastic! It just goes to show that if your dog is good enough you'll do well. :-)

Thanks everyone! My ringcraft teacher/judge has advised me to enter his in his first championship show next month. excited! He's also going to Crufts for the racing class! :)
