Topic Dog Boards / Health / White specks in poo, fed on skinners duck and rice

I know this is a gross subject but I have noticed my dogs stools are often soft (not diarrhoea) and have white specks throughout. Some dogs more than others, they are like large grains of sand. They are fed on skinners duck and rice and have soaked some kibble and then rubbed them between my fingers and there is some hard grainy stuff. Is this bits of rice? They are obviously not being digested. Does anyone have any experience of this?

Only seen this in a pup litter. When were they last wormed....

I see this when I've fed mine on home-cooked rice that hasn't been boiled long enough with enough water.

I had exactly this when mine were fed on Autarky, i think it is the maize or corn or similar as when i switched them to a food without it, the white flecks disappeared.
