Anyone got any experiences with Simpsons Premium?
I bought some trial bags and dogs seem to be good on the Salmon & Potato but they seem to prefer the taste of the Duck & Potato.
Just looking for any advice on the flavours and if a different flavour makes a difference to your dog.

Thanks

I decided that im definitely either going to get salmon & potato or duck & potato but does the meat source make any difference.
I read somewhere that someone said the duck was too rich for their dog...what do they mean by that?

My dogs have had both of those simpsons varieties and can swap between them with no bother. Saying that, not all dogs can tolerate every available meat source, so I guess it's trial and error to find one/ones that suit your dog.

Edited to add: it's a great dog food, definitely the best I've found over the years :-D

Thanks...they seem fine on both the salmon and the duck.
Just not sure which one to buy as its a 15kg bag which will last for ages in my place as i feed raw also.

Hi Arnie

Best complete food, along with Fish4Dogs (but my fussy young Spinone doesn't like that!) that I've ever found - v. pure ingredients that stack up to 99% content (rare to find that) - and he doesn't have any problems digesting it which is great as he has sensitive tummy.  I did think the duck trial size bags made his dumps slightly looser than other flavours, but could have been coincidence as the bags are small so didn't do extended trial.  He's fine on both Chick & Spud and Lamb & Spud.  Not tried fish as he's not keen on fishy things generally.

They are superb at customer care, and v. helpful/efficient.  Only issue with them for us is that we live in v. remote location, and their courier won't deliver up long farm track, so having to re-think options, sadly :-(
