My Patterdale terrier has been on raw since October and is loving it, happily eats chicken legs, wings, backs, beef ribs, lamb neck etc. My OH discovered an agent for Natural Instinct food locally so we got some Working Turkey for her and some green tripe. She will not eat the turkey at all, will not even taste it, not even when my cats eat it off her plate! The tripe is still in the freezer, untried.
Obviously it would be convenient to have her eat the Natural Instinct, does anyone have any ideas to encourage her or am I going to have to suck it up and admit defeat?
my dogs all have natural instinct and love love love it. I had no trouble with getting them on it, maybe its because she likes more crunch to her dinner and the natural instinct is soft??

My flattie and collie both love Natural Instinct too (all varieties), though both would probably eat pretty much anything. They have bones in the evening and mince (e.g. N. T.) in the morning so happy with both.
Could you try mixing it in with something really yummy and smelly like tinned fish to start with? I would also try the tripe as this has much more smell than the turkey which might be a bit bland for her.

My two dogs are on Natural Instinct and they are fine with it.
You could always try mixing a little kibble with it and eventually decrease the amount of kibble.
If its crunch she likes you could always add something into it.
my three BCs and the elderly cat all love it.

Thanks for the replies. She has now eaten the tripe and we have discovered that she doesn't like turkey! We bought her supermarket turkey mince and she won't eat it either, although she will eat beef/pork/lamb minces.
