Just thought I would share Sunday morning with you as I need to share this for sanity.

Yesterday one of the dogs raided the dustbin so this morning there were 4 splodges of runny bums outside the back door. I thought I had better clear it up straight away before one of the other furry souls decided to run through it and walk it indoors - so far so good.

I bent over with a coal shovel ( poo collecter) in one hand and the pushing piece of wood in the other when my glasses fell from the end of my nose straight into the offending splodge. Even though now blind as a bat I could see enough that there was mess all over them and really didn't fancy putting them back on without taking them indoors for a wash. I put the shovel down, picked up the glasses and stepped back to put them on the window ledge safely - you guessed it - in my blindness I stepped straight into one of the other splodges. I am now blind as a bat and standing on one leg. I managed to get my boot off but overbalanced and fell landing my backside in the other two splodges.
At this stage I removed my coat, hopped indoors, took a shower and went back to bed with a cup of tea. The splodges? whats left of them will be dealt with later when I feel like it !!!!

-I am sorry I did laugh imagining you staggering around not being able to see avoiding or not avoiding the poo. Think starting day again was good idea :)

:-D :-D :-D

Not the best start to the day, is it--that scenario could be straight out of a comdey film but no one could ever make it up. We were on a rainy windy beach this morning with four very active dogs, two of whom had never seen the sea :-)...I thought I was being clever by taking a long scarf to wrap up. Needless to say when bending over to pick up poo the scarf kept threatening to dangle in the pile and I must have made a ridiculous picture flapping about with a poo bag in one hand and the other trying to flick the scarf back round my neck. Even the dogs looked like they were trying to give the impression they didn't know me.

Nice to know these things don't just happen to me !!! That others get themselves into a pickle as well.
I always wonder at shows how some people manage to stay so clean and tidy. I set out like a new pin, but then as the day goes on I have paw prints and slobber on me, my shirt collar seems to have a mind of it's own, my hair has flopped, and one of the dogs licked most of my make up off !!! LOL.
