Just a general enquiry. What sort of costs might be incurred sending a pup to Florida and how is the best way to go about obtaining quotes etc
Thanks

Contact the Cargo side of the airlines that go from your nearest airport to their nearest get a quote an Bob's your uncle.

We sent a pup with Delta from Heathrow to New York (JFK) and it was just over £500.

You will also need to buy an airline crate (we bought a larger size so it would continue to be useful to pup until adult), and also you will need to get health certificate.

If pup is under 12 weeks ti won't require Rabies or any vaccinations, though ours went out at 11 weeks with full puppy vaccs minus Rabies.

I t might work out cheaper for new owners to collect pup and take it back with them either in cabin(if small enough) or in hold as excess baggage which is a fraction of the cost of Cargo.

I agree with Barbara
Excess bagage option was MUCH cheaper than export via cargo when we sent a pup to Canada and Ihad piece of mind that his new owner was at least on the same plane
In addition to cost of pup new owner paid for ::
Crate - Sky Kennel
Export pedigree
EU passport issue ( no rabies required ) - needed Health Cert completion approx 24 - 48hrs before transportation
Routine puppy vaccinations

I've been asked to send a pup to Nova Scotia, Canada. I know the buyer and have been  umming and ahhing about it. I know it will be living in a fantastic home, but it is the journey to get there that puts me off the idea.
London-Toronto   Toronto-Halifax  then 3 hour road journey! Still deciding, and seeing if there is a better way to do the journey.
