Have been thinking on this after reading that link.

How much would you feed a 3 month pup? Have no experince at schedule feeding so have no idea how much, when to increase ect.

When Buster was 3 months old he was on 4 meals per day.

Times approx: 8:30am, 1pm, 5pm, 10pm.
I think he was about 5 or 6 months old when one meal was dropped. He was then on 3 meals per day up untill about 12 months. He's remained on 2 meals per day, a morning meal and a night time meal.

As for qnty, I really can't remember exaclty how much he had per meal, I do know it was less then what was recomended on the bag.
Your best bet is to start off by measuring out what you think is OK and adjust according to body condition. Don't worry if pup looses a little bit of weight while you are getting the food right, it's better for pup to be lean rather than chubby. Depending how much great dane is apparent in your pups growth, you may be needing to adjust food often to cope with growth spurts. It's a bit of a juggling act to get the volume right and just when you think you've nailed it, they seem to double in size over night and look half starved!!

This contains a guide on what pup should look like, don't be ruled by how much pup weighs, go on what the body is like.

The two pups I've raised were fed at 8am, 12pm, 4pm and 8pm up to 12 weeks, the they went down to 8am, 2pm and 8pm until 6 months, thenj down to two meals at 8am and 6pm.

Not sure on quantity (this was 8 years ago now!).  I think it was something like a mug a meal, but that's a huge guess! And, it was tweaked a

At 3 months I would not think any puppy likely to overeat, so would give as much as pup will eat at each meal, and then monitor, if pups growing well and in good body condition, neither too fat or too thin then continue in that vein.

In my own medium breed the good doers often need the food cutting a bit below appetite by about 6 months, but usually I just keep the same amount of food until they have grown out of any extra puppy fat.  At around 9 months mine often need decreasing again so by a year old they are on about the same amount of food as the active entire adults, or a bit more if very energetic.

As your pup will have a longer growing period they are likely to need larger rations/more meals than an adult of same weight until about 18 months or two years.
