Help needed please. When I click on things on sometimes the mouse does a double click but i only click once, so if I want to go back a page on the internet it often takes me back 2 pages, its like its over sensitive to one click. trying to do my online shop the other day was a nightmare, everytime I clicked to increase amounts from 1 to 2 I kept getting 3! when decreasing it went back to 1 and totally missed 2.
I have tried to increase the speed of the mouse and decrease it but this hasn't really solved the problem - any ideas anyone?

Go to Control Panel on your PC. Find the mouse icon - mouse properties. You can then lessen the click speed for double click! click ok or apply. HTH :-)

Mine sometimes starts doing funny things like this if there are crumbs or bits of dirt under the mouse button. Blowing some air around the gap under the buttons sorts mine out every time.

have changed the mouse and all working fine now.
