Topic Dog Boards / General / vet bed again, backed or regular?
- By agilabs Date 13.12.11 07:06 UTC
Hi,
I bought a roll of unbacked VEtbed a while ago and now I need some more but I can't decide weather to buy the greenbacked or the normal. I was thinking of using piece of it on my leather sofa and also in the dog beds and the car., will it stay on and not ruck up? Also I was concerned the stiffer backed stuff wouldn't fit the washing machine? I usually cut it around 1 x 1.5 mtr ish and i have a 6kg machine. How do you all manage to clean it?
Thanks

I can't fit that size vetbed in my machine, I cut it in half and it's still a bit of a struggle to fit a new 30 x 40" bit in, but once it's been washed a few times it's ok. I always use the backed stuff for beds and in the car, but for the sofas I have lighter fake fur material that I can tuck in round the bottom cushions and that dries really quickly on a radiator.
