I know for some this is a controversial subject but I know I shed a tear for this video.

I watched it - I wish they'd shown them properly out later on.

I watched this a few days ago, and must admit I did suffer from leaky eye syndrome, but I do have a criticism, perhaps I'm being a bit of a nit picker but I felt it wasn't in the dogs best interest to let them out when they did. From what I could make out from the footage I saw, the dogs weren't that long out of the lab and were being taken on a very long road journey to be re-homed, the dogs were clearly stressed as it was, was it essential that they were further stressed by being exposed to a very frightening environment too ?.
Having said that though I do think well done to those people for giving those dogs a chance at a normal life, here's hoping they have a long and happy life :-)

Not sure if I´m allowed to post this link but here goes.  http://www.coastrider.net/news/national-news-spain/14765-72-beagles-rescued  It gives a bit more info on what´s happened to the dogs, for those who are interested.  We´ve had a lot of news about all this over here in the English press.

Thanks for the link, i'd also like to say a big "well done" to lab too for allowing the dogs to be re-homed.

Update:  I was told today by the organisation instrumental in rescuing these beagles (The Little Pod Foundation http://www.littlepodfoundation.com/) that ALL the dogs are now in their new permanent homes.
