Hi.  I have just seen Blood Brothers with Marti Pellow as the narrator.  Wow what a brilliant musical.  I was not prepared for how emotional it was; one minute you're laughing and giggling, then you're trying to hold the sobs back (couldn't during final song).  Now I think I'll order CD so I can relive it all.  Are any of you guys fans of this great show?

Glad you enjoyed it...........but oh yes, doesn't matter how many times you see it a hanky is handy to have !.

I saw it years ago in Liverpool with a couple of the McGann brothers in it and Willy Russell did the narrating.  It was supposed to be John Conteh but the night I went he had laryngitis.

It was fab - I'd like to go again if it every came on near me.  Loved the songs and the story was great. :-)

I saw it a couple of years ago too and would LOVE to see it again - I sobbed my heart out - brilliant and love the narrating side of it - just amazing !  I too downloaded the soundtrack to relive it !

I absolutely love it.  Where did you see it?  I didn't realise Marti Pellow was narrating.  Might get tickets as I think it's touring the country again next year.

Phoenix Theatre, West End (near Tottenham Ct Rd tube).  Marty was really good.  He is in the show until beginning of March next year.  I've noticed that some tickets are going for about  £23 at moment (Friday night and a matinee) which is good value.  I paid £39 each, but they were originally £60 for same seats, so I feel I got a bargain!

I've seen this over the years 4 times, I know many others even more, I never get tired of it, happily see it again and again......... and sure I will.

Glad you felt the same way too. :-)

I went with my 17 yr old daughter, and one of her funniest bits is when 7 yr old Eddie says to Mrs Lyons, after learning a new phrase from Mickey "I know what you are, you're a ?**? ?**".  Priceless.
