what is the supplement you give dogs to help their nose blacken up, does it work if the dog gets a snow nose i think that is what you call it, when the dogs nose goes lighter over the winter this is the first time we have had him over the winter and his black pigmentation has gone

Elderberry and nettle extract is what's recommended, but I can't answer your question as to whether it will fully restore your dog's pigmentation, sorry

I used this on one of my girls and it was very good at restoring the colour. It took a few weeks.

I read that kelp added to the diet improves the pigment,never needed to use it so can't comment on whether it works or not.

Some plastic dog bowls can affect the nose pigment.

kelp is good in the winter... elderberry and nettle best during the summer months... I would ring dorwest they give great advice over the phone..

I use kelp powder in the winter and it keeps the black coats [and noses] proper black. Even my older girl who's very grey, looks blacker with kelp.
I get mine from Dorwest Herbs.
