My bitch seems to suffer from nettle stings on her feet fairly especially after 'picking up' on the shoot. It irritates her a lot. does anyone have any suggestions to remedy this. Particularly interested in something natural or preventative.

Have only ever noticed this with puppies as they grow they seem to grow out of it. Can only suggest that you massage between the toes and pads with surgical spirit, used to use it years ago when I was dancing to harden the feet and it did work for me but it may not on dogs but it could be worth a try.

It may be worth trying phytobalm from Hilton Herbs .It is a totally natural balm and did the trick when my pup nettled his paws and can also be used on minor cuts ,abrasions, wounds and sore or scurvy skin as it is both anti fungal and antibacterial!
I always make sure I have a pot in my first aid kit and would be lost without it.I was assured by the lady who I spoke to at hilton herbs that it would cause no ill effects if licked by a dog and even though my pup licked his paws after application it caused him no harm
